Visiting Cartagena is an incredible experience. With a rich and colorful past, this city is centuries old and retains much of its original colonial-era charm. Visitors flock here from all over the world to enjoy this beautiful seaside port. When you are staying in Cartagena you have many options, but none as luxurious as the Casa San Agustin.

Cartagena is a bustling modern city, the fifth largest in Colombia and is filled with arts, culture, shops and many things to do and see.

Casa San Agustin in the Cartagena central is the perfect place to be close to it all while getting a restful stay. Even though there are only 30 rooms (20 guestrooms and 10 suites), you will get all of the amenities of a larger resort.
Three white-washed houses make up the hotel reflecting its colonial history. The location is prime – in the walled part of the city and across from the University of Cartagena. In front of the hotel is a small square where you will find street vendors and you can partake in people watching. Hotel Decor
Casa San Agustin oozes charm and unique 17th-century architecture. From the welcoming lobby to the communal spaces like the library and rooftop solarium, not one detail is overlooked.

I stayed in a spacious one bedroom suite that was filled with traditional wooden decor, modern furnishings, and luxury linens and world-class amenities were apparent upon unlocking my door. I was in awe of how beautiful, yet simple this relaxing space was from its king-sized bed with Frette luxury linens, Ortigia Italian amenities in the bathroom.

From the large windows letting in tons of natural light to the exposed beam ceilings, this room was filled with character and charm. A and lent itself to the perfect setting to rest and relax before exploring this vibrant city.
