Gros Morne National park on the western side of Newfoundland is a geologist’s paradise. The landscape is a testament of how our earth evolved from rock fjords bursting through the ice and Tablelands of earth’s tectonic plates to rugged and rocky mountains. Like the old cliché goes “ if you want to be one with nature” this is the place to be.
