Rainbow Ranch Lodge is located in the heart of Big Sky Country in southwest Montana. This intimate setting is situated on 7 acres and features luxury accommodations and fine dining.

Rainbow Ranch’s main lobby area for guests.
The lodge is ideally suited for girlfriend getaways, weddings and those seeking outdoor activities (hiking, horseback riding, skiing) or just simply a peaceful respite.
The lodge’s close proximity to the Gallatin River makes it a perfect fly-fishing paradise. The river is well known for its rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout.
Yellowstone National Park is 12 miles south of the lodge, making it a perfect base for day trips. Big Sky Ski Resort on Highway 191 is just 5 miles north if ski hills are your thing.

Accommodation
My one-night stay in the Pondside Luxury room was an excellent tonic from a long day of travelling. It featured a king bed with a plush-down comforter. The room had a wood-burning river rock fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and a workstation with a spacious desk, comfortable chair, and Wifi access. Perfect for catching up on work.
The adjoining bathroom is spacious and features a sauna-sized tiled shower stall. The pièce de résistance is the deep bathtub — perfect for a good soak after a day of outdoor adventures. The room also features his and her vanities, bathrobes, as well as separate dressing areas. Who could ask for more?
The bathroom is stocked with high-quality Molton Brown products from London. Quoting Condé Nast Traveller:
Now that’s impressive.
