While the snow blanketed the city Friday night. We dined at Joni Restaurant @parkhyattto. Soothing tones and a warm fire greeted us. Our tasting pleasure started with well-curated cocktails; the delicious taste of the "Smoke Signal" cocktail set the tone for what was to follow.
Enjoying the 7 course tasting menu curated by Executive Sous Chef Jonathon Williams @jwillcook. With an add-on wine pairing of either Canadian or International Wines. We chose the international to match each course.
A flute of champagne for the first course of Amuse Buche Tuna Tartare and House Charcuterie had our taste buds singing with appreciation.
When dessert course followed, Apple Iced Tea - Apple Cake, iced Tea Sorbet matched with a French Sauternes. All I could say was let it snow. More to follow later...
